Comptoir Libanais

3-5 Exhibition Road, SW7 2HE

14 September—22 September 2012

8AM- 12AM

‘Capturing Culture’ – Beirut design and food at Comptoir Libanais; London’s hippest and tastiest all day Lebanese café, delicatessen and souk on Exhibition Road.

Comptoir Libanais brought Lebanese home-style dishes to the High Street.

The packaging and wall graphics of the restaurant echo celebrated Beirut designer Rana Salam’s distinctive patterns and prints. A true feast for the eyes!

During the Festival, Comptoir Libanais plays host to Rana’s new brand – – quirky products including cushions, posters, wallpaper, jewellery and objects.

With a background in graphic design, Rana always felt the importance of blending and promoting cultures. Creating products was the best way to apply her unique vision of the Middle East that is fun, unique and story telling.
