The inspiration for Vera
Found objects are the starting point for this intriguing exhibition. The objects in question are a series of photographs found in a Brighton second-hand shop. The photographs depict a young girl and appear to be from her family‘s photograph album.
Curators Kirsty Minns and Erika Muller commissioned a number of artists and designers to produce work that builds a fictional biography of the anonymous subject they‘ve named Vera. The results of the first stage of this commission are Minns and Muller‘s contribution to this year‘s London Design Festival.
