The Rabih Hage Gallery, is launching it’s first pop–up shop with the highly acclaimed Dutch designer–producer, Piet Hein Eek. Eek is a graduate from the Eindhoven Design Academy and has been working as a furniture designer since 1992, establishing the company Piet Hein Eek in 1993 with Nob Ruijgork. He is known for innovative and elegant work with metal, wood and ceramics that combines unusual materials with elementary production processes. The pop–up shop will house many pieces from Eek’s collection such as his classic Scrapwood Cupboard, first launched 16 years ago.
