Visiting this year‘s LDF is also a great opportunity to see the Serpentine Gallery‘s 2011 Pavilion project. Created by renowned Swiss architect Peter Zumthor, the pavilion has a series of staggered doorways and paths that lead to a beautiful garden in its centre. Zumthor designed the pavilion to be a restful, contemplative space where people can escape the noise and bustle of central London.

The garden was created by Dutch designer Piet Oudolf and offers festival goers the perfect place for a rest between visiting the numerous LDF shows in the Brompton Design District.
