Handel Street Projects

Works by Oliver Richon, Stefan Sehler and Gerard Williams

1-5 Exhibition Road

until 11 April

Handel Street Projects, an art organisation run by Fedja Klicovac, present an exhibition of works by Oliver Richon, Stefan Sehler and Gerard Williams. Photographer, painter and sculptor, they share an interest in the illusion of what is ‘behind’ the physical object in terms of meaning. Formal elements constantly reoccur and link different bodies of work on a visual level in all three cases. Their work all questions aspects of our preconceived ideas about the mediums and the materials they each work with.

Oliver Richon’s book Real Allegories covers twenty years of his work, and is published by ‘Steidl’.

Stefan Sehler will have a solo show at Musee d’Art Moderne et d’Art Contemporian, Nice in 2009

Gerard Williams showed new work in a solo exhibition at Parker’s Box, New York during 2007
